FAQ — Nature Tours in Bali

Common questions about our nature private tour packages

How difficult is the trek to Bali's hidden waterfalls?

Difficulty levels vary by waterfall. Munduk and Banyumala waterfalls involve moderate downhill hikes of 15–30 minutes on relatively well-maintained paths. Leke Leke Waterfall has a steeper, slippery descent. Comfortable closed-toe shoes or sandals with grip are essential. Our guide will assess the trail conditions on the day.

Can I swim in the waterfall pools during the tour?

Yes, swimming is allowed and encouraged at most waterfall locations including Banyumala and Munduk. Bring a swimsuit and a small quick-dry towel. Water temperature is cool and refreshing — typically around 22–24°C. Always follow safety guidelines at each location.

What should I wear for a Bali waterfall tour?

Wear comfortable clothes you don't mind getting wet, bring a swimsuit, and wear sturdy sandals or closed-toe shoes with good grip for the jungle paths. Bring a waterproof bag for your phone and valuables, sunscreen, and insect repellent for the forest trails.

Is the North Bali waterfall tour far from the tourist areas?

Yes, North Bali's waterfalls are approximately 2–3 hours by car from Seminyak or Kuta, and about 1.5–2 hours from Ubud. The long drive is part of the experience — you'll pass through scenic mountain villages and rice fields. We start early to maximize your time at the waterfalls.

What is the best waterfall to visit in Bali for photography?

Banyumala Twin Waterfall and Tukad Cepung are among the most photogenic in Bali. Tukad Cepung is unique — it sits inside a cave where light filters through a narrow opening, creating a magical beam effect. Banyumala features twin cascades into a pristine jungle pool. Both are included in our North Bali waterfall tour routes.

Is Bali Nusa Tour a private or shared tour service?

Bali Nusa Tour is a 100% private tour service. Every booking is exclusively for you and your group — no strangers, no shared vehicles. You get a dedicated local Balinese driver and a fully private air-conditioned car for the entire day.

Can I customize my Bali tour itinerary?

Absolutely. Customizing your Bali itinerary is one of our specialties. You can choose your own destinations, adjust start times, skip certain stops, or ask your driver to take you to hidden local spots not on any map. Just let us know your preferences when you book via WhatsApp.
